Happy October! We are so excited to welcome a new month… even if it’s 100° in Los Angeles right now. Fortunately, you can still watch spooky movies with the air conditioner on. Though mulled wine is going to have to wait a few weeks, Hocus Pocus and a Halloween candy charcuterie board sound just about perfect. This week, we’re sharing a few of our favorite products and discoveries we think you’ll love:
— We’ve been fans of RECLINER’s softer-than-soft pajamas. They just released a brand new Classic PJ Set in a cool newsprint pattern. This month, they’ll donate 5% of profits from the collection to the First Amendment Coalition.
— FYI, stationery staple Minted has partnered with The Metropolitan Museum of Art! 11 Minted artists designed customizable holiday cards inspired by masterpieces from The Met. You can rediscover the classics, reimagine what art means to you, and reconnect just in time for the holidays.
— Maiden Home has launched a new handcrafted furniture collection for fall! From a cozy shearing chair to a four-poster canopy bed, you’ll find pieces to take your home decor to the next level.
— San Francisco children’s theater The Rabbit Hole is a wonderful resource for families: they introduce kids to the magic of creative arts and the importance of self-expression through theater-based learning. With remote learning as the reality this school year, they launched Theater in a Box so families across the country can tap into their children’s sense of wonder. How sweet is that??
— Looking for new artwork or home decor? SoCal design studio Upton should be on your radar. They make handmade prints on canvas, prints on paper, and metal and wood sculptures, and no two pieces are alike. Plus, it’s all really affordable!
— Elevate your night in with SweetFlower’s new kits. The ‘Get High & Stay Inside’ kit has everything you need to relax after a crazy week, and encourage you to stay safe by social distancing and staying home. We think it’s best enjoyed with old episodes of Fargo.
