Though it’s the first Friday of September, there’s a heatwave heading for Los Angeles this weekend. We’re craving fall (hello, cozy throws) but it’s looking more like a weekend for the inflatable pool. However you’re spending your long holiday weekend, we hope you get some well-deserved relaxation! Now, for our favorite links of the week:

— Chicago designer Kara Mann has teamed up with CB2 for an exclusive collection and it’s super cool. Kara was inspired by the ’80s, and blends feminine style (can you say ruffles?!) with a masculine edge. See a few of our favorite picks here.

— One part refreshing, one part uplifting, 100% delicious: cannabis-infused, social tonic brand Cann has a released a new flavor, Pineapple Jalapeño, exclusively at SweetFlower. It brings just the right amount of positivity and spice.

— During this crazy time, your home should be your happy place. However, perhaps you’ve got an overly-curious neighbor (ugh) or the afternoon sun is a little too harsh for your home office? If so, check out Stoneside. The custom window covering company has everything from roller shades to custom drapes, transforming your space into a private and serene sanctuary.

— Need a fresh new homeschool activity? Sustainable rug brand Organic Weave is hosting a “Draw a Rug” contest. It’s open to kids aged 18 and under and the winner will see their design come to life! Rules and details can be found here.

— The San Francisco Bay Area Craft Week kicks off (digitally!) next week and it’s free and open to all! Virtual guests will experience the innovative work of 130+ artisans representing the worlds of jewelry, furniture home decor, and much more. There will be live “maker meet-ups” and workshops, as well as curated field guides and collections specific to Bay Area craft culture and community. Find out more here.

— Fashion and florals collide with these cute bouquets! For a limited time, you can snag one of Farmgirl Flowers signature bouquets wrapped in Levi’s dark denim. Once you’ve transferred the blooms to your favorite vase, you can check out a few fun DIYs (think coasters, book covers, and more) to give the denim a second life. The final bonus? $10 from each purchase will be donated to Rock the Vote!

— For the first time ever, the New York Design Center’s What’s New, What’s Next event is going virtual! They’ll offer expanded programming from September 8 through October 8, including a range of digital activations, hosted by a diverse line-up of industry voices and partner organizations like the Black Interior Designer’s Network (BIDN), The New York School of Interior Design (NYSID), Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, NYCxDesign, and more. Sign up here to receive VIP access to programming.

— Ever wish you could invite a celebrity like Snoop Dogg to your Labor Day Weekend BBQ? With 19 Crimes, you can… sort of! The rap mogul worked with the Australian wine brand to create Snoop Cali Red, a blend of Petite Syrah, Zinfandel, and Merlot. And with the help of augmented reality and a smartphone, the label (aka Snoop!) will speak to you. How fun is that?

Robert and Cortney Novogratz have launched their first collection at Target (!!) and it’s as colorful and fun as they are. In addition to bedroom furniture, rugs, and decor, they’ve got a great selection of pieces to take your home office to the next level. We have our eye on the mid-century bookshelf to bring some much needed order to our space.
